Mr. Kalpen Parekh is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of DSP Asset Managers Pvt. Ltd. and a member of the Executive Committee. Kalpen has over 19 years of experience in sales across client segments, distribution and marketing. He was previously Managing Director and Head of Sales & Marketing at IDFC Mutual Fund. He has also served in Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Limited and ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Limited after beginning his career with L&T Finance Ltd.

Kalpen holds a Master's Degree in Management Studies in Finance from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune.

Mr. Ghyanendra Nath Bajpai, a distinguished leader in Indian business was the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI-sole regulator for Capital & Commodities markets both cash & futures). Earlier Mr. Bajpai was Chairman of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Mr. Bajpai is known for his visionary leadership and exemplary integrity. Mr. Bajpai has been Chairman of the Corporate Governance Task Force of International Organization of Securities Commissions and the Chairperson of the National (India) Pension Trust Board and National Stock Exchange of India.

As Chairman of SEBI, Mr. Bajpai oversaw the orderly functioning of India’s securities markets. As Chairman, Mr. Bajpai transformed LIC to meet the challenges of deregulation and competition from global insurance companies. Mr. Bajpai has been a member of Board of Directors at General Insurance Corporation of India, ICICI Bank, Unit Trust of India, UTI Bank now Axis Bank, Tata Chemicals, Jindal Steel, Thane Electric Supply Co., National Housing Bank, Discount & Finance House, Indian Railway Finance Corporation, India International Insurance Ltd., Singapore and Ken-India Ltd. Nairobi (Africa) among others. Mr. Bajpai was also Non-Executive Chairman of National Stock Exchange, Stock Holding Corporation of India, LIC Housing Finance Ltd, LIC International EC Bahrain, LIC Nepal Ltd and Insurance Institute of India. Currently, Mr. Bajpai is Non-Executive Chairman and Non-Executive Director of several Corporates in India. He is also on the Board of Advisors of Indian Army Group Insurance Fund and Member of Governing Board of National Insurance Academy. Mr. Bajpai was the Chairman of Indian’s National Pension Trust Board. Earlier he has served on the Governing Board of Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.

Currently, he is Emeritus Professor of Finance , National Insurance Academy. He is being regularly invited to speak at seminars in India and abroad. He has delivered lectures including at London School of Economics (LSE), Harvard University etc. and also addressed OECD & IMF seminars. Mr. Bajpai holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Agra and a Degree in Law (LL B) from the University of Indore.

Gurumoorthy Mahalingam has had a professional career of four decades spanning across the financial sector regulators, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Securities & Exchange Board of India ( SEBI). He has taken on varied roles in RBI encompassing financial market development, regulation and operations, foreign exchange reserves management, debt management and regulation and supervision of banks. He was the Chief Dealer and Executive Director in-charge of forex market interventions as well as management of forex reserves of the country and rupee liquidity policy and operations. In fulfilling his above responsibilities, he was instrumental in formulating regulatory policies and conduct of market operations of RBI during the global financial crisis , European debt crisis ( 2011-12) as well as the taper tantrum ( 2013-2016). He was closely involved in giving shape to foreign exchange policies and monetary policy implementation.

In his role as a Whole-time Board Member of SEBI, which carried Executive responsibilities as well, he has had a wide experience regulating Mutual Funds, Stock exchanges, Listed companies, foreign portfolio investors, corporate governance aspects, stock and derivatives markets, corporate bond market, amongst others. He has supervised the conduct of investigations and enforcement actions in regard to violations of securities laws and regulations. He was a quasi-judicial authority for a little over 500 cases involving market misdemeanors. He is currently chairing the SEBI Advisory Committees on Secondary Markets as well as Corporate bond market. In RBI and SEBI, he was associated with important committees in the area of forex markets, financial benchmarks, corporate bond markets, etc.

Mahalingam began his career as a commercial banker with the State Bank of India after finishing his Masters in Statistics and Operations Research from IIT Kanpur. He is also an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the Birmingham Business School in the UK.

Dr. Ritu Anand is a pioneer in the field of Human Resources, with 30+ years of experience in HR and related functions. She was the Senior Vice President HR & Chief Leadership & Diversity Officer at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). During her stint with TCS she led talent management, workforce policy and planning, total rewards, and welfare practices. She is an eminent leader and is recognized for human centric processes, talent, and leadership. Her expertise spans varied areas from compensation & benefits, workforce policy planning, career pathing, competencies, performance, leadership assessments, welfare programs, including culture, coaching, counselling and mentoring. She has played a key role in handling areas such as employee grievance redressal process, motivating employees by personal counselling to instituting measures for reducing absenteeism and employee turnover, facilitating the Performance Appraisal Process and establishing the framework for substantiating appraisal system linked to rewards and recognition.

She began her career in TCS in 1990 with Training and Development and moved on to handle the performance management and compensation & benefits. She has led the HR for TCS North America from 1998-2001. She has travelled extensively across the globe and has developed framework for cross cultural mobility of employees and created unique engagement programs, set up role and benefits framework Developing women leaders is an area that she is personally committed to.

She is a well-renowned speaker at various global forums, sharing her visionary views on the future of workplace, talent, and leadership. She was an Executive Board Member, Regional President and National Secretary of the National HRD Network (NHRDN). She serves as an independent director and an advisory board member for organizations such as Godrej Agrovet Limited, Medi Assist Healthcare Services Limited. She has been selected as one of the 20 Top HR Influencers chosen by HR 40under40 and recognized as one of the LinkedIn Top Voices of India on LinkedIn for two consecutive years.

Dr Ritu Anand holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Bombay and MA in Psychology from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
